Free Amazon Affiliate Training For Beginners

Affiliate marketing with amazon, everyone sort of knows about it. Yet not so many do it! That’s why I’m keen to deliver you some free amazon affiliate marketing training you can use.

You did know your twitter updates and the facebook posts you already share online could earn you an income with the amazon associates program didn’t you?

Your camping holiday pictures, the pet antics or food updates could all be earning you money.

Free Amazon Affiliate Training

I believe that one of the easiest ways to start affiliate marketing for beginners is partnering with Amazon, you’ll become an Amazon associate – that’s what they call their affiliates. I’m going to show you how to do all that with some detailed and  free Amazon affiliate training. If you’ve never tried affiliate marketing before, my Amazon affiliate training is aimed at you!

There’s no need to be phased, and anyone, no matter your skill level can do this. I’m going to cover everything from signing up to the Amazon affiliate program, to creating your very own website and also looking at the tools out there to help you get the job done.

Why Amazon Associates?

I decided on amazon affiliate training because it’s easy for beginners to get started with. This is what I’m thinking…

If you already ‘get‘ affiliate marketing, you might want to build yourself a specific niche website where you focus on a hobby or interest that you have. Or you may be considering a more fluid and personal type of website where your topics can be quite varied.

Both types of site can be monetized and earn you commissions, and even a regular income using Amazon as your shopping partner… It’s probably a lot simpler than you think.

Amazon is a trusted shopping site for you to send your readers to.

Amazon accepts everyone into their affiliate program, plus they have a smooth distribution and delivery structure already in place. Your opportunities are doubled or tripled if you are able to create your website in more than one language.

Amazon will pay you between 3% to 12% of the total bill when you send a shopper to them.

ie: If you recommend a Sushi knife and your reader clicks your link, scoots over to to Amazon and buys it – plus a whole bunch of other stuff, you’d get a commission on all the other stuff as well.

What We’ll Cover

As I’m going to assume you have never tried affiliate marketing before, I’ll be covering all the basics. The first thing I want you to know is that this Amazon affiliate training doesn’t have to cost you a penny. By that I mean you don’t have to spend any money either. There’s a free website platform I’ll recommend later on if you want to go down that route too.

On the free amazon affiliate training agenda is:

  • Joining the amazon affiliate program
  • Creating a unique amazon affiliate link
  • Amazon’s affiliate astore builder

Affiliate Training Tasks

That’s an overview of what we’ll be covering over the next few weeks, I’m sure we’ll think of more things we want to discuss along the way too.

So for now there’s just a couple of small tasks that I’d like you to complete before our first free amazon affiliate training series.

They are small but they’ll help you get ready for our next step.

  1. Decide if you want to create a niche amazon affiliate site and narrow your focus. Or a free flowing diary type blog site where you can promote whatever takes your fancy for that day.
  2. Think of what you would like your website to be called, we’ll use that name at Amazon Associates next time we meet.
  3. Visit Amazon and have a look around, if you want to read more about their associates program that info you’ll find here.
See what’s selling really well at Amazon if you need a little nudge for ideas by doing a simple google search for “amazon top 100”

Once you click through to the amazon top 100 page, down the left hand side you can pick any department and get the top 100 in that department as well. (That link goes to amazon.com top 100)

2.0 and a Staffy so just a regular guy who used to make cash on the side as an affiliate marketer - Now I do it full-time and show others how to do the same. You can make extra income online using a few very simple tools and techniques. It does take time to make it happen. You won't get rich over night - unless you get lucky!

  • Hi Tony,

This is a great course. Most bloggers don’t really understand the Amazon Affiliate program. Many underestimate the power of Amazon affiliate program because of the low percentage of compensation. However, over the course of time, if you’re able to sell stuff, you will make a lot of money. What bloggers also don’t realize is when people end up on Amazon, they’re more likely to end up buying than on any other site.

  • Les says:

I have signed up with amazon Associates, but I am still a total newbie and don’t know what my options are. I am looking forward to finding out the options from your training.

One of the things that has really got me confused is the thing about being an Associate for each of the Amazon stores that your customers buy from depending on their location, otherwise you lose out on the commission. I am registered with one and have no idea how to take the next step. Hopefully you will be covering this somewhere.

    • Hi Les,

Thanks for dropping by to visit. I’ll give you a solid solution for making sure that you don’t lose out on any Amazon commissions with a few plugin options. You enter the amazon ID’s for all the countries you’ve registered with and hey presto no loss of commissions.

AWesome to see you here. This is designed for folks JUST like you 😉
