It’s January 9th and I’m a day ahead of the schedule with my 2nd chance to impress myself –  Yes I said ‘myself’. A new year and a new me. I’ve even created my schedule and it’s almost like I’m working for the man again!

I’ve had my 2 kids staying with me over the holidays and there’s nothing like your kids to motivate you to be more than you are and reach the stars. They flew back to Sweden this morning and my new schedule starts on Monday. (I need a couple of days to clean up!)

My work day starts at 9am sharp. Every everything is mapped out Monday through Friday with tasks and to-do’s to boot… Yeah you may call it a New Years resolution, I’m calling it my second chance.

For the first time in a long time I’m ready, and able to smack the ball right out of the park. When you change your attitude everything is possible.

work schedule

All that’s needed is a belief that you can learn and the willingness to do so for life changing times ahead.

I can set myself goals, but I don’t believe I’m going to achieve… it’s like flogging a dead horse, I’m never going to get to finish the race.

So what’s new?

There’s a whole bucket of the new Tony.B hitting the interweb, I told ya I’ve got it all mapped out. That said… I’m not so rigid that I won’t tweak and bend in either way when required.

It’s the tree’s bends in the wind that weather the storm - Or in plain English you must be flexible with all plans if you want to see them succeed.

It’s a serious online work ethic and attitude adjustment that’s required as I accept responsibility for my own future. I know that I’ve had a fit of online lazyitis over the last 6 mths, so the daily tasks and to-do lists are going to be a real help.

As a special prezzie to myself I’ve purchased a little quality time with Craig Desorcy too. Straight after posting this I’ll be on skype to arrange out get together time… I’m not quite sure what to expect but I do know that guy’s has a rock solid reputation as a coach…

I’m glad I got over my hurdle of doubt in regards to paying for a 30 minute session. I doubted whether I would get anything out of teh conversation. How far up my own arse was I? I’m glad to report that almost over night I spun my opinion to value delivered not dollar in the pocket.

When I look at the big picture I’ve loads to be grateful for. Not least of all by 2 yummy children and a healthy life. So it’s more reading, more sharing, more getting involved and certainly a lot.. oh yeah a hell of a lot more writing!

keys to success

I’m not looking forward to the reams of writing bit.. but may have a plan there too… I used Dragon Naturally Speaking for a while, but it was a right pain training it to understand my London Cockney  accent – I may give that another go.

Anything changing for you?

If you want to know how to set goals that stretch you and test you but always get completed – You too need to look at giving yourself a second chance to impress.

I just have to remind my Cousin, Pez, that she’ll be proof reading all my articles from hear on in. I wonder if she remembers that conversation we had on Boxing day!? Soon find out won’t we!

PS:  I know that it’s not just me that wants to shake things up in 2013 – If there is anything I can do to help you along you r way just holla.

PPS: A couple of new sites of mine that I’l be populating are Tony’s Tickings and Rated by Tony. Hope to see you there sometime too ..

But not you spammers OK!

[update]

Just opened an email from Tiffany Dow and it seems that what she’s written goes hand in hand with what I’m writing about today. Especially if you’ve been more than placid in your endeavours what ever they may have been.

If you need an arse kicking read this blog post. Tiffany is in fighting form with a no holds barred chew out of any of us that has an excuse for why we can’t achieve more.

So suffer from:

  • Not doing enough.
  • Not following through on business models.
  • Not putting yourself out there.
  • Buying the same things many times (because you didn’t implement it the first time).
  • Wasting everybody’s time blaming products that don’t work (they do – you’re lying).
  • Doubting your abilities.
  • Wallowing in a pity party about your life.

I really do suggest that you click on that link to Tiffany’s post, it’s well worth a read… After you’ve left your comments here that is ;)
