A Little WoW Background – For all the hard core gamers and fans of Warcraft, first release of Blizzard Entertainment’s mmorpg World of Warcraft in 2004 was a true gaming breakthrough.

With currently around 12 million players worldwide this mmorpg hit the market like no other game and is still considered to be the most popular game played online.

WoW expansions – The Burning Crusade and Wrath of the Lich King were both thrilling and wonderful and Blizzard’s team of developers and designers really gave their best to make the game interesting for both old players as well as for the newcomers.

WOW Leveling Jumps Up

With the various new game features, races, professions, dungeons and tasks players were constantly inspired to be better, to have more gear, skills, achievements and gold. With all these tasks at hand the market became totally flooded with various World of Warcraft walkthrough guides.

As the game expanded and the level cap was first raised from level 60 to level 70 and then to level 80, Leveling guides for Horde and Alliance factions, Gold guides, Profession guides, PvP guides, etc. were a constant need for players. However, not all guides offered exactly what players wanted – the easiest way to their goal, useful tips and the right strategy.

WOW levellingThe first World of Warcraft walkthrough guides that appeared on the market were actually made by the hard core WoW players who have already leveled a few characters and engaged in either PvE or PvP game play.

Those guys have already explored the ways on how to make gold, how to level up a character on the most fastest and convenient way possible, how to combine professions and level them up without much time or gold spent, how to use your talent points to create the best PvP talent builds as well as PvE raiding builds for each class, which WoW addons to use and how, etc.

Therefore the best World of Warcraft walkthrough guides were actually made by the real and experienced WoW players.

What made some of these World of Warcraft walkthrough guides popular are the testimonials of the players who tried them out. In normal circumstances, as a new player, you would need quite a bit of time to level up from 1 to 80 since the world you are entering is quite huge and offers many possibilities.

However leveling and discovering the map and your character’s abilities might seem fun at first it will get much tougher as the levels pass by. Getting from level 1 to 10 can be done in just a couple of hours, but as you gain levels, each level expands and more experience is needed. In this case experience equals more play time.

WOW babeTo cut the chase and make it easier on themselves new players tend to use World of Warcraft walkthrough guides simply because the step-by-step instructions will get them to level 80 without much trouble and time spent playing.

Even the experienced players use guides when they want to level an alt character or a preferred profession. Also, as in real life so it is in WoW the money always matters and therefore having more gold means having more fun. Gold making techniques and guides are also quite popular with WoW players.

Keep in mind that the actual fun in game starts at the maximum level.

As level 80 you can choose to play PvP and spend time in battlegrounds and arenas or PvE where you will encounter various mobs and bosses in 10man and 25man raids with your guild. One or a few good World of Warcraft walkthrough guides will surely boost you and help you to reach the maximum in game
