Have you ever made a change to your WordPress site and then the new update comes out, and your site looks all messed up?

Often we bloggers want to stand out and tweet our WordPress, this may involve CSS changes to alter the look and feel of our base templates or even PHP code we add to the theme. This is all well and good especially when you get the results you after. But what happens when you’re core theme updates?

What happens is you lose all your Coding work and you’re left with the basic WordPress template again. Creating a child theme solves this problem, and it’s a lot easier to do than you may think!
